Bright and Cheery Breakfast For Two

The antique ironstone blue transferware plates are made by W.Adams & Sons Co, in Tunstall, England. These have a maker's mark on the back that was used by W.Adams between 1819-1864. The pattern is called "Columbia" and according to the markings these were probably made about c.1850. This one does have a small chip in the rim. :-(

My casual dinnerware is from Pottery Barn and this particular collection is called "Emma". I love these dishes! The 5 piece place setting includes: dinner plate, salad plate, soup bowl, cereal bowl and coffee mug.

My casual flatware was purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond. This particular pattern is called "Vintage" (appropriately enough!)

For a touch of whimsy, I put the sugar cubes in an ice cream sundae glass and have a bouillion/soup spoon in it from a hotel my mother-in-law found somewhere (which incidentally is the same hotel where we had our wedding reception,!)

A blue-speckled syrup jug with a rooster on it and two different creamers on a silver tray make a nice addition to the table.

I love the crackle blown glass creamer pitcher. It was made in Jamestown, VA at the old Jamestown Settlement , at the on-site glassworks. It was fun to watch the glass blower make this creamer jug for me while I watched!

The syrup jug was a gift from someone many years ago and the cow creamer I picked up at a fair in a booth selling imported trinkets.
