Tabletop Tuesday: Beautifully Simple Peony Centerpiece

Today I'll be joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday with some of my lovely peonies that are currently making up the centerpiece display for my dining room table.

Be sure to check out her blog and see all the other great tabletop submissions this week!

Wouldn't it be fabulous if peonies bloomed all summer long? Their fragrance has been perfuming my dining room for days. I cut this large bunch over the weekend and they still look great! I moved the dove figurine from the piano in the front hall and tied a pink ribbon around it's neck and made it part of my centerpiece display. Both will be featured again later this week for Tablescape Thursday on my 'Pretty in Pink' Tablescape.

I also took the bird's nest out from under this cheese dome with marble base that I got at Goodwill and tucked my cute silver snail underneath. He looks right at home on my silver coffee/tea service tray.

He's so cute under there....but I suppose I should give him some leaves and flowers to dress up his dome home!

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Katie, I love your peonies, too! The whites are probably my favorites, but our whites bloom first (and we only have a few) and then the hot pinks bloom for the longest. I think they're such gorgeous flowers! Love your little snail, too!
