Metamorphosis Monday: Retaining Wall and Yard Landscape

Although many of my regular followers saw most of these pictures just this summer, I had planned to share our landscaping project on Met Monday, hosted by Susan at Between Naps on the Porch, at some point after the project was completed.

"Phase 1" of the project, as we like to call it, was officially completed in July, but it took some months for the new grass to grow in. We don't know when we will begin "Phase 2", which will involve replacing the fence. We are hoping to start Phase 2 in the spring. As for the rest of the project, which involves a new driveway and landscaping the rear yard, including a patio and pergola, we have no idea when we might be able to afford to do that at this point. Hopefully it will be in the next few years, if we are lucky!

In the meantime, enjoy the transformation!
