I had Stamp Club on Friday at my mom's and we made some really cute cards. Here are two projects that my mom also had for us to make! Too cute!
The one on the left is sort of like an edible Easter centerpiece. The "flowers" are actually Tootsie Pops wrapped in tissue paper, tied with ribbon and decorated with paper flowers. There is also a chocolate Bunny lollipop in the back, wrapped in Easter egg decorated cellophane. My mom made the lollipops with candy molds she bought at Michael's. A square of green foam tucked into a cute little take-out box holds them in place. The foam is hidden by green paper Easter grass. The one on the right is a small box that looks actually like a little milk carton.
We used my mom's Sizzix Big Shot to cut out the box all in one easy piece, with all the fold lines already scored! It makes it so easy! We used some Easter stamps and ribbon to decorate. I tied mine closed with a bit of ribbon. I can put some candies or chocolate inside and give this as a little Easter gift to a friend (along with a cute card as well!)
Some cute tags to say, "Happy Easter!" adorn the centerpiece.
The large flower shapes were made also with a die cut my mom bought for her Sizzix Big Shot. The smaller flowers were made with a flower-shaped punch. The pink flower in the center of the picture was made with a small oval punch. I punched out six ovals in some designer paper and the placed them in a flower-shape. This would make a cute spring, Mother's Day or birthday luncheon centerpiece also and guests could take one of the "flowers" home as a favor. I only put four "flowers" in mine, but there's room for several more!
All the stamps, card stock and punches are from Stampin' Up. My mom started myself and my sisters on stamping about 10 years ago. She's also a demonstrator in her spare time. It's yet another crafty hobby that we all really enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by!
